Mojoe — parcel management for a shop and relay point
An Android application for Mojoe, a shop that also acts as a parcel relay point: parcels are scanned on arrival, stored on the shelves and found again when the customer comes to collect them.
Mojoe is a shop that, besides selling its own products, receives parcels on behalf of its customers — DPD, Mondial Relay, UPS, and a concierge service of its own. With dozens of parcels coming in every day, staff needed a quick way to log them and find them again.
The application runs on the shop's phones. When a parcel arrives, the staff scan its barcode and label with the camera, and assign it a place on the shelves. When a customer comes in, typing their name brings up their parcels and where they are stored. The home screen shows how many parcels are waiting for each carrier, the inventory lists what each shelf holds, and notifications point out parcels that have been waiting too long.
Built in Flutter, with on-device barcode reading and text recognition, and a NestJS back end on PostgreSQL. Over 75,000 parcels were handled with it.
