About me

Co-founder, technical lead and treasurer of an association of web professionals, then CTO of the media it became, still run on my servers.

Wexample — from a collective of web professionals to a web media

Wexample was first a collective: freelancers of the web sharing clients, projects and tools under one association. I co-founded it, led its technical side and kept its books as treasurer. For it I wrote Network, the back office its members, invoices and accounts ran on, and the first versions of wex, to start and deploy everyone's projects the same way; its development rules, deployment pipelines and test discipline grew into the package suite this site runs on.

The association has since closed. Wexample lives on as a media about web projects — automation, AI, project management, eco-design, GDPR —, and I remain its CTO: its site, its mail and its tools are hosted and run on my infrastructure. Before all this, wexample.com had been online under Drupal since 2009.
