FIBA — AI-written game reports
For the International Basketball Federation, an API that writes the report of a game from its statistics and play-by-play, built on the Syrtis agent platform.
Given the id of a game, the API runs a Syrtis scenario and returns a finished article: a headline, an opening summary, the turning point, the player of the game, the numbers that decided it, a bottom line. Before any model writes a word, sandboxed Python reads the federation's data — competitors, box scores, play-by-play — and computes what a journalist would look for: scoring runs, lineups on the floor, player efficiency, offensive and defensive ratings, clutch minutes. The model then writes from facts it did not have to guess.
The report shown here is the one the agent wrote for the EuroBasket 2025 final, Germany 88–83 Türkiye.
