Engagement Letters — BDO Luxembourg
A tool for the tax and accounting teams of BDO Luxembourg to write, send and follow the engagement letters that frame each client assignment.
Before any accounting or tax work starts, the firm and its client sign an engagement letter: what services are covered, at what fees, for how long. The application turns that paperwork into a workflow. A preparer picks a template, fills in the client and the services from ready-made blocks, has a partner review the letter, then sends it for electronic signature through DocuSign — firm and client signing in turn. Letters are written in French, English or German from the same template.
Once signed, each letter is followed: the dashboard shows which ones are about to expire, reminders go out on a schedule before the renewal date, and a letter is renewed in one click from the current template. An assistant built into the application, Marion, can create a letter or adjust it on request — add a recurring fee, change a section — and only within that remit.
